  • Keeping up to date on best practices in cloud computing and making improvements to the cloud infrastructure of their company or organization.
  • Communicating with internal teams, like Sales, Operations, and IT.

What you'll learn

The AWS Certified Solutions Architect hands-on course will provide in-depth knowledge about AWS architectural principles and components. Participants will learn to manage highly available and fault tolerant enterprise and web-scale software deployments, how to migrate and deploy cloud-based solutions, and implement cloud solutions on AWS. The course will help participants prepare for the AWS Architect Certification – Associate Level exam. The course is taught by instructors working in the industry who are adept at cloud infrastructure.

In this course, participants will learn the following:

  • Knowledge and skills in computer networking, storage, and database AWS services as well as AWS deployment and management services.
  • Knowledge and skills in deploying, managing, and operating workloads on AWS as well as implementing security controls and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge and skills in using the AWS Management Console and the AWS Command Line Interface (CLI).
  • Understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework, AWS networking, security services, and the AWS global infrastructure.
  • Ability to identify which AWS services meet a given technical requirement and to define technical requirements for an AWS-based application.

After attending this course, participants will have the knowledge to:

  • Design solutions that incorporate AWS services to meet current business requirements and future projected needs
  • Design architectures that are secure, resilient, high-performing, and cost-optimized
  • Review existing solutions and determine improvement

About the exam

AWS Solutions Architect SAA-C03 Exam
The AWS Solutions Architect exam is 130 minutes long and comprises a maximum of 65 multiple choice and/or multiple response questions examining the applicant’s knowledge and understanding of the four domains of AWS Solutions Architect. Out of the 65 questions, 15 questions are not scored. The results are computed on a scaled score, with a score of 720 or more out of a 1000-point maximum needed to qualify for the credential.

Prerequisites

At a minimum a participant needs to have completed the AWS Cloud Practitioner course or have equivalent knowledge.
