To be eligible for admission into Maryville’s online bachelor’s degree in accounting, you will need a high school diploma and a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA.

Online accounting degree curriculum

The online Bachelor of Science in Accounting offers a flexible 128-credit hour curriculum of industry-relevant coursework to help you to sharpen your business knowledge and hone your accounting and financial skills. The core business courses cover a full gamut of subjects from financial and managerial accounting, micro and macroeconomics, and business statistics, to operations management, marketing, business communication and law.

Once you move onto the professional accounting phase of the curriculum, you’ll study financial reporting, forensic accounting, ethics, auditing, income taxes, accounting information systems and advanced managerial accounting.
