How to Apply

Registration will open at 7:00 PM on Monday, August 26th

Step 1: Review the projects available below.
Step 2: Choose a project or two you would be interested in volunteering for. It is always good to have a backup in case your project fills up.
Step 3: Click on the project you would like to register for. You will find the application at the bottom of the project’s page.
Step 4: Once you complete the application, you will receive a confirmation email. Read over the email and note and important information.
Step 5: Fill out the required 2024 Travel Waiver & Hold Harmless Agreement at https://getinvolvedmu.maryville.edu/submitter/form/start/637524. This is REQUIRED for all participants.

Lutheran Senior ServicesVolunteers will provide socialization opportunity though a Carnival Themed party. There will be carnival games that will need to be run, a snow cone and popcorn machine that will need to be manned and drinks to be passed out. Lutheran Senior Services – Meramec BluffsVolunteers will be tie-dying shirts with residents, playing carnival themed games with residents, and helping residents with a fall-themed craft. For those interested, one-on-one visits with residents would be wonderful as well!9:30am-3:30pm0/6
Lutheran Senior Services – Richmond TerraceVolunteers would play games with residents, make snow cones, and visit with our seniors.1:30pm-4:00pm0/10
Lutheran Senior Services – Rose Hill HouseVolunteers will assist residents that need help cleaning and organizing their apartments. Volunteers may also need to help residents reach high and low spaces and move furniture. 10:00am-2:00pm0/20
Lutheran Senior Services at Breeze ParkGardening and beautification project for our amazing Bistro Courtyard Garden at Breeze Park. Work hand-in-hand with the residents in our Garden Club. Weeding, digging, amending, and cultivating.9:00am-3:30pm0/15
Maryville University – Kids Rock CancerVolunteers will design and create unique, colorful greeting cards with uplifting messages and artwork to brighten the days of the children in the Kids Rock Cancer program. Volunteers will also construct basic musical instruments, such as shakers and tambourines, using safe, child-friendly materials. 10:00am-12:00pm0/25
