How to Apply

Registration will open at 7:00 PM on Monday, August 26th

Step 1: Review the projects available below.
Step 2: Choose a project or two you would be interested in volunteering for. It is always good to have a backup in case your project fills up.
Step 3: Click on the project you would like to register for. You will find the application at the bottom of the project’s page.
Step 4: Once you complete the application, you will receive a confirmation email. Read over the email and note and important information.
Step 5: Fill out the required 2024 Travel Waiver & Hold Harmless Agreement at https://getinvolvedmu.maryville.edu/submitter/form/start/637524. This is REQUIRED for all participants.

Wildlife Rescue CenterVolunteers will help to clean up invasives and other brush around the Center's 12 acres of property and lake-trail as well as aid in the annual maintenance and clean-up of pre-release enclosures around the property as we prepare our busy baby season to come to a close!10:00am-2:00pmMaggie Hembrock13/20
Willows WayVolunteers will help with a Field Day at Rabbit Run Park in St. Peters. We would like the volunteers to interact with our clients helping them with games and activities for the day. 9:00am-3:00pm6/12
Wings of HopeVolunteers will be "demo" teams for our "Pull a Plane" fundraiser. There are other activities we would have in tandem with the plane pull exercise for those who would rather not engage in this, such as we are in need of help in our large grounds area, where we have a dedicated team working year- round to water, tend to our native garden, weed, etc.10:00am-2:00pm18/40
Wyland ElementaryVolunteers will speak to students about their degree and what they are studying at Maryville, read a book aloud to 1 classroom, and read with small groups of students during their time volunteering.9:30am-10:30amKyle Bracko25/25
Wyman CenterVolunteers will be able to choose the area they wish to volunteer. Project A - consists of demolition and removal of 2 cabin structures. Project B - consists of restoration of an exterior area that has been altered due to the massive amount of rain recently. Project C - should we have inclement weather; the project will pivot to inside deep cleaning work in the Main Dining Hall. YWCAWe have 4 garden plots in the back of our building that need to be cleaned up, restored, and possible be able to get some things planted. We would be able to have our Pre-K children help with this along with the volunteers. 9:30am-3:30pmTroy Smith5/10
