Maryville University’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion announces the hiring of Ashley Storman as program coordinator. She oversees the Multicultural Scholars Program, and will develop and implement various student programs.

“Ashley brings with her a passion for student success and a wealth of knowledge and experience that will be key in moving the Office of Diversity and Inclusion forward,” said Turan Mullins, assistant dean for diversity and inclusion.

Storman, who hails from Davenport, Iowa, has a BA in criminology, and an MA in education, with an emphasis in post-secondary education – student affairs, both from the University of Northern Iowa. She is currently enrolled in Maryville’s doctoral program in higher education leadership.

Previously, Storman worked at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, where she served as an academic coach/peer mentoring coordinator for the Office of Multicultural Student Services.
