Maryville Reaches Out (MRO) is back! After a brief hiatus because of the pandemic, the Maryville community was excited to give back to the St. Louis region. This year’s MRO included 1,043 volunteer students, alumni, faculty and staff who shared their time and talents.
“This year, #MRO21 was special because our first-year and second-year students got to experience the program for the first time after having to pause a year because of COVID-19,” said Assistant Dean for Student Involvement Ebony Ramsey.
“Many safety precautions were taken to vet each project site and ensure that all students, faculty, staff and alumni were safe. The event would not have been as successful as it was if it had not been for the student coordinators, Alexa Miedona and Katherine Voss. These two students stepped up and navigated the challenges that the pandemic brought our way. We are looking forward to making #MRO22 even better than ever next year.”
