Maryville University’s Commencement was held Saturday, May 7, at Family Arena in St. Charles, Mo. The Class of 2016 is comprised of 1,977 graduates from the Walker College of Health Professions, the School of Education, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the Simon School of Business.
David Gergen, political analyst, public service advocate, and former presidential advisor, delivered the Commencement address. He was presented with an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree.
Student commencement speakers were Elizabeth Hammond, who received a BA in communication, and Aileen Patton, who received an MA in organizational leadership and development.
