Celebrations Conclude for Maryville’s 150th Celebration

Homecoming 2022 was an unforgettable opportunity to celebrate the past and toast to the future. The weeklong celebration featured many favorite events with an anniversary twist. The Go the Distance Race was back and birthday-themed with a cupcake celebration at the finish line followed by an all-new hilariously exciting cupcake relay.

Another highlight of the week was the President’s Reception and Maryville Forward showcase. The evening concluded with a special grand finale to our 150th anniversary celebration with a drone show in the skies above the Academic Complex. Guests were overjoyed to watch their favorite Maryville memories appear as a group of illuminated, synchronized and choreographed drones arranged themselves into various formations, from the Donius University Center clock tower to our mascot Louie to the #BigRedM.
