Students enrolled in Dana Levin’s writing tutorial (English 406) course recently showcased their work in a pop-up reading entitled “Cabinet of Curiosities.” The students read a mix of poetry, fiction and creative non-fiction during the event, which was held in the Morton J. May Foundation Gallery, located in University Library.
“My students this semester were on fire: inspired, dogged with revision, sharp with critique, brave with how much of themselves they shared on the page,” says Levin, Maryville’s Distinguished Writer-in-Residence.
Student participants included: Meghan Dairaghi, Erin Gaubatz, Molly Godat, Sarah Henkel, Thomas Henry, Taylor Heady, Rachel Luebke, Maddy Seidenzahl and Julia Wood.
