The Office of Career Success and Professional Development makes no representations or guarantees regarding the opportunities listed on its website or other printed materials.  All information provided by the Office of Career Success and Professional Development is a service and should not be construed as a contractual obligation.  Maryville University is not responsible for the wages, salary, safety, working conditions or other aspects of off-campus employment.  It is the responsibility of students and alumni to verify these conditions prior to accepting any offers of employment or volunteer activity.

The Maryville University Office of Career Success and Professional Development’s web-based software program known as “Career Connections” is a part of the NACElink Network website owned and operated by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE).  NACELink is an alliance of NACE, the Direct Employers Association, and Symplicity.

Through Career Connections, students and alumni are able to post resumes and view and apply for jobs.  Student/alumni data and resumes are stored on NACElink network servers.  By registering with Career Connections, student/alumni data may be used for internal institutional studies and reporting.
The information in a candidate’s self-created profile can be used by Office of Career Success and Professional Development staff for job search advising, promoting programs and services, on-campus interviewing, notifying candidates of employment opportunities and referring qualified candidates to employers.  Personally identifiable information is not release to third parties.

The Office of Career Success and Professional Development may or may not review all positions posted exclusively to Maryville University.  The Office of Career Success and Professional Development does not review job postings submitted via NACELink.com.  NACE, the Direct Employers Association and Symplicity do not review job postings on individual schools’ websites or NACElink.com.

All users are urged to validate job postings and use caution and common sense when applying for any vacancy.  Do not disclose Social Security numbers, credit card information or bank account numbers to unknown employers.

The Office of Career Success and Professional Development and Career Connections (NACELink) is a resource for current Maryville University students and Maryville University alumni exclusively.
