2020- 2021 Undergraduate Tuition and Fees
Maryville University’s 5% Tuition Reduction – FAQs
President Lombardi’s Announcement
Maryville is implementing a tuition reduction of 5% for its full-time traditional undergraduate on-campus student population beginning this Fall.
The tuition reduction is the next step in Maryville’s phased approach to expand affordability and access for families, which began with keeping undergraduate on-campus tuition flat for the past four years. Maryville is committed to lowering the cost of undergraduate tuition for students and families throughout this decade and this is the next step.
- When will the tuition reduction be reflected on my student account?
The Division of Operational Excellence will be updating student accounts in the next 5-7 days. If you have already paid your Fall tuition bill, a refund will be issued. If you have not paid your tuition for the Fall semester, your student account will be updated and a new e-statement will be issued to you.
- Is this tuition reduction available to part-time or online undergraduate students?
No. At this time, Maryville is only offering the tuition reduction to full-time undergraduate students who are studying on campus.
- How will this impact my financial aid package?
Most students will not see a change in their financial aid. Maryville University Scholarships (academic, competitive, endowed, or athletic) that are designated to pay full tuition, or a percentage of tuition will be adjusted as a result of the new tuition price.
- Is the tuition reduction just for the Fall semester or will it continue this Spring?
The tuition reduction is for both Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 semesters.
- Is Maryville offering the 5% tuition reduction in response to COVID-19?
No. Maryville’s strategic plan has positioned us to expand access and opportunity to thousands of additional students. Lowering the cost by 5% now allows students and families to plan out a more affordable path to their Maryville education.
