Assistant Director Physical Plant - Grounds

is accepting
applications for Assistant Director of Physical Plant, responsible for
the University's landscape and grounds including supervision of staff,
scheduling work and long-range planning for landscape and grounds
management. The successful candidate will have knowledge of soils,
planting and building materials; mechanical equipment for grounds and
athletic fields; landscaping support chemicals, including federal and
local code requirements; athletic field uses; and survey equipment for
ground measurements. Must be able to negotiate and complete
contract requirements. Position requires all-weather operation of
grounds equipment, including tractor and implement use; ability to
work hours that are not regularly scheduled for emergency situations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or relevant combination of education and experience
required.
