ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF RESIDENTIAL LIFE
Maryville University is accepting applications for a twelve month
live-on Assistant Director of Residential Life to manage the day to day
operations of the residence areas and design creative marketing programs
which recruit and retain residential students. The Assistant Director
serves to create a welcoming and supportive residential environment
which facilitates positive student relationships. Responsible for
staff selection, training, programming and leadership development of of
residential students as well as support of the Living Learning
Communities. The Assistant Director hears judicial cases as
assigned, advises campus programs and participates in the duty rotation.
This position requires weekend, evening and holiday work.

Qualifications: Master's degree required, preferably in
College Student Personnel or Higher Education Administration or related
area. Two years experience in residence life required. Supervisory
experience preferred. The successful candidate will have
experience requiring sound judgment and ability to perform under
pressure as well as highly developed diversity and educational
programming skills. Strong written, verbal and interpersonal
skills are required.
