Occupational Therapy Academic Fieldwork Coordinator
Maryville University of Saint Louis is accepting applications for an
academic fieldwork coordinator to begin Fall of 2008. Primary
responsibilities include year-round administrative monitoring of the
fieldwork program, initiating and maintaining written and verbal
communication between academic and fieldwork sites, routinely evaluating
quality and appropriateness of fieldwork sites, coordinating assignment
of students to fieldwork sites and coordinating ongoing educational
opportunities to improve clinical educators' abilities to support
student education in field sites. Additional responsibilities
include classroom teaching, student advising, and
participating on committees.
Qualifications: Current licensure or credentialing as an
occupational therapist; eligible for Missouri licensing; a minimum of 3
years of clinical experience as well as experience in teaching and
clinical education.
